Since the launch of the game, the world is going mad and crazy over Pokemon Go. The developers have launched the game only in the US, New Zealand and Australia as of now. They haven’t given any timeline about its global roll out. Due to increased load on the server, they have also paused its global roll-out for some days. Though the game is only available in these 3 regions, anyone can enjoy it by side loading the application on their smartphones.
The easiest way to play this game is to install it on any Android smartphone. This is because side loading on iOS is much difficult and the game has not been released for Windows OS yet. Here in India, I am already enjoying this game on my Android smartphone. If you still haven’t got the app, this article can help you. Here is a short guide on how you too can be a part of the action before its official launch in India. Installing the Pokemon Go on any Android smartphones is pretty simple, the easiest and straight forward.
Please follow the below steps to install this game on your phone-
- Download the APK file of the Pokemon Go game from here. I suggest you not to use any other link as that can have malware and could be risky for your phone
- Once the APK file is downloaded, you will need to allow Android to install apps from third party sources. You can do this by going into Settings > Security and then allowing the phone to install apps from unknown sources
- Install the Pokemon Go using the APK file you just downloaded, that’s about it. Now you are ready to play and enjoy this game once it is installed
- However, I suggest you to go back into security and once again disable the option that allows the phone to install apps from unknown sources
Please let me know in the comments if you face any issues in installing Pokemon Go game on your Android smartphone using the above steps.
