OnePlus Two is in the news again as the buzz just doesn’t seem to end. We already have a fair idea about what the upcoming flagship could be about after few leaks. The company’s CEO Liu Zuohu has added fuel to the already raging fire in a Weibo post where he teased a full metal build.
On Weibo, he has reportedly asked, “How to define “full metal”?” However, there is no mention of One Plus Two, but considering he has been talking about the upcoming successor, we cannot rule out the possibility. So this indicates a full metal body for the OnePlus Two.
The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus Two will feature an Octa Core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC, USB Type-C port, and a fingerprint sensor which will be better than Apple’s TouchID.
As far as the rumors are to believed, the OnePlus Two is likely to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, 4GB/3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and on the software side, it will run on Android Lollipop based Cyanogen OS or Oxygen OS in India. Few leaked sketches also hint at a possibility of dual-camera setup at the back, and a Bluetooth certification filing claims that the OnePlus Two could be available in three variants.
The device is slated to launch on July 27 and is expected to be priced more than $322 that is approximately Rs 20,500. After a successful launch of the OnePlus One flagship device and an exclusive agreement with Cyanogen, OnePlus is now trying out new and innovative ways of marketing its next flagship – the OnePlus Two.
The company has announced that the One Plus Two would be launched on 27 July via the world’s first VR product launch.
